Ticker

Any listed underlying — the chain, spot and expirations all follow it. Per-ticker work is kept separately, so switching away and back restores what you had.

The price beside it is the index: live while the market is open, where the yellow line sits on it exactly, and the 4:00 PM settlement after the close — when the yellow line follows the after-hours option market instead, so the two can differ.

Line:

Price Line: Current or Settled

Appears once a checked card has an expiration that has passed. Current puts the yellow line, Current Profit and its % tiles at today's price. Settled puts them at the underlying's 4:00 PM ET close on that expiration date — the latest one, if the cards expired on different dates.

It switches to Settled by itself when every checked card has expired; your own choice holds until you change the position. prelim means the official close isn't published yet and the last minute's price stands in. The price beside the ticker always stays live. AM-settled SPX monthlies settle on the morning open instead, which this does not show.

Estimated Vol

Appears when live vol was unavailable for an expiration and a default was used, naming which. Matters most on calendars, where the back leg's vol drives nearly all of the payoff.

settled means that expiration has already expired — its contracts no longer quote, so there is nothing to wait for. live chain unavailable means the expiration is still trading but the chain did not load, and it should clear on the next refresh.

Saved Models

Saved models live in this browser only — they do not sync to your account, other devices, or other browsers, and clearing this browser's site data deletes them.

Save model lets you add a name and an optional note, and also downloads a .json copy — keep it or move it to another device, then re-open it here with Import. The note shows under the dropdown when the model is loaded, and the 💾 beside it re-saves the model with whatever is on the graph now.

The model stays loaded when you visit another tab and come back, so you can keep editing and updating the same one instead of saving a duplicate. Typing a different ticker sets it aside — that ticker has its own position.

ToS Trade

Right-click an order in ThinkorSwim, choose Copy Trade, then click this — the position is built here from your clipboard. The traded price arrives locked.

Several at once: copy multiple orders together — one per line — and each becomes its own card. Identical spreads at different prices stay separate, so you can build a scaled-in position in one paste.

Your browser may ask permission to read the clipboard the first time. If it refuses, or what you copied is not an order, a box opens so you can paste it by hand.

Share a link

Copies a link to this exact model to your clipboard — paste it into Discord, email, or chat.

Anyone logged in to FLUX who opens it sees the model and can Save it to their own models. It's a snapshot — later edits you make don't change an already-shared link.

Max Profit

—

Max Profit

The best P&L this position can reach at expiration, at any price — not just the part of the curve on screen. Zooming does not change it. Reads Unlimited when the upside tail is uncapped.

Max Loss

—

Max Loss

The worst P&L this position can reach at expiration, at any price — not just the part of the curve on screen. Zooming does not change it. Reads Unlimited for an uncapped downside, like a naked short — and relabels to Min Profit when the worst case is still a profit.

Current Profit

—

Current Profit

What the position is worth now versus what you paid — the T+0 line read at the current underlying price. Unlike the two figures beside it, this one is not at expiration, and it follows the Time and IV sliders: move them and this shows the projected value under those conditions, matching the T+0 line on the graph.

Current Profit % (Initial Risk)

—

Current Profit % (Initial Risk)

Current Profit as a percentage of what the opening trade could lose — the combined risk of every card you marked INITIAL.

This is the one that keeps working after an adjustment. Roll a position far enough and it can reach a point where it cannot lose at all, at which point the tile beside this one has nothing left to divide by — but the money you originally put at risk is still what the gain is worth measuring against.

Tick Initial on a card to mark it; an opening is often more than one fill, so mark them all. Open a position from the Positions page and its entry fills arrive already marked, at the prices actually paid. This tile appears only once something is marked.

Current Profit % (Current Risk)

—

Current Profit % (Current Risk)

Current Profit as a percentage of Max Loss as the position stands right now — return on risk, not on cost. +300% means three times the money at risk.

Reads — when there is no risk to divide by: an uncapped downside like a naked short, or a position that can no longer lose (where the Max Loss tile says Min Profit). When that happens, the Initial Risk tile is the one still worth reading.

Undo & Redo

Steps back through changes to your position — adding or deleting cards and legs, strikes and expirations, prices and locks, notes, the INITIAL mark, which cards are checked, and loading a model or pasting a trade. Hover a button to see which change it will reverse.

Ctrl+Z / ⌘Z undoes, Ctrl+Shift+Z / ⇧⌘Z redoes — except while you are typing in a box, where they undo that box.

Not steps: zoom, the Time & IV sliders, price slices, Greeks / ±1SD / colours, and collapsing cards. An undone card is repriced at today's market; a locked price comes back exactly. Each ticker keeps its own last 50 changes, which survive a page refresh and are cleared when you close the tab.

Graph buttons

☐ Contracts — in Transformer mode only: labels each strike of your checked cards with its net contracts (ratio × Contracts, added across the checked cards; a green dot is a buy, red a sell; legs that cancel show nothing). Off until you turn it on.

Exp + T+0 — draws both the at-expiration line and today's theoretical (T+0) line. Click for Exp Only to hide the T+0 lines. Applies in Combine and Compare.

Alerts — one-shot price alerts on any symbol, or on your checked spread's price: a chime, a banner and, if you allow it, a desktop notification. The button turns green while an alert is armed. They run only while a FLUX tab is open, and are stored in this browser.

History — charts your checked position's price over time above the underlying's: Today (1-minute), or 1 Week, 2 Weeks and 1 Month (daily).

Contracts and Exp + T+0 stay the way you last left them in this browser.

Time: —

Time

Moves the T+0 curve forward toward the front expiry to show time decay. It does not change the expiration curve. The ↻ returns to now.

↻

Implied Volatility: —

Implied Volatility

Reprices every leg at a single flat IV to test a vol move. (model) means it is using each expiry's own live ATM vol; ↻ returns to that.

↻

Transformer

Click a leg on the graph, or tick a box below. Dup adds a copy as-is, Opp adds it flipped. Added cards go straight onto the graph. A marks your original card(s). ☐ Contracts at the graph's top-right labels each checked strike with its net contracts — added up across your checked cards, so legs that cancel show nothing.

Sub-spreadDupOpp

Paste a ThinkorSwim trade

ToS Trade normally reads your clipboard directly. This box opens when it could not — your browser blocked the read, or what was copied is not an order. Paste it here instead. One order per line; the spread price comes across locked.
